Whats with the secrets about the North reveal on Saturday at Kawana hotel 5pm to 7pm. I have had some a TX's from local riders about a display & free food drinks at Kawana Hotel this Saturday, Funny way to find out. You would think the brand would want every one to know so thay might sell them. So all could see how good they may be.
Buy the way I can't sell then, there seems to be a lack of support for the local shop at Maroochydore to service the local riders, they won't let me sell them. ? But I will be going & am keen to see what North have to offer for 2011. As of late the kites have been quite ordinary for such a big or well known brand & I love to kite "If it's good give it to me", that's why I opened a shop. May be they don't whant to many people to come as there is some free food & bev, may blow the budget.
If you are on the coast might see you there. "Look out that's my pub not my beach" LOL
No don't be sorry Man, it will be this Saturday 26/6/10. So you have not missed out! Might see you there look out for the Sunshine Cost logo T'S. Say High Dude.
Check out the event section Jono, the Invite and all the info on the night is in there. It has been there for a couple of weeks now.
Pretty sure I did my best to get the word out.
Perhaps next time I will hire a plane and fly over the coast with a banner!
Hope to see you there mate
Luke
So why the interest in North sckitesurf? If thier kites have been ordinary of late why would you want them? Have you found your brands lacking?
Strange stuff.
Catch u all there, should be fun![]()
Sorry did I say I want them? So why the interest? I love to kite & like to see what brands are doing & coming up with, it's not all about selling.
Than'ks Luke for your invite but it's your thing. I was just stirring the pot, after a few drinks, have fun[}:)]
I checked out the gear yesterday at Pallarenda.
Word on the wire is that the Euro's aren't happy about having big publicity for the '11 gear as their '10 season is just kicking off now. If the '11 gear looks like it's available then they'll end up with a heap of '10 gear not being sold.
I didn't get a chance to ride any of the gear but from watching a few others demoing them they looked alright. The new graphics are a personal choice - not my thing. I will say that the Rebel 9 (pretty sure it was a 9) had an astonishing low end! I was holding ground on my '09 Torch 12 and the guy riding the '11 Rebel 9m made it look effortless.
The new boards also look damn nice, especially the Jaime Pro which i'll grab for a demo as soon as they're allowed on the water.
