It seems to me that with every brand there is a 'duck's nuts' size kite, which when in its wind range, is just a little bit more awesome than the other sizes.

For example a lot of people reckon the 10m switchblade, the 9m crossbow, the 10m bandit, the 9m ozone sport, 7m fuel, etc

So i'm wondering, what is the 'duck's nuts' size for the new ozone C4? It looks like a proper C kite so i'm guessing it needs a fair bit of wind juice to get it firing, but which sized one is the most bestest? I think kitehard was saying the 10m?

kitehard might be changing his mind now he came in last night pretty stoked after flying
a C4 nine in thirty plus winds. i think his nose was bleeding.

Hi guys,

Yep, Nick's right! I have a new WBK (Worlds Best Kite) The Ozone C4 9m is breathtaking in it's awesomeness!

Can't wait to try the 7m we have ordered now.

Cheers,

KH

The 9 is pretty damn sweet.
So far I've had a fair bit of time on the 9, a few hours on the 11, and a 7 that hasn't made it out of the bag.
Can't wait till 7m weather, I reckon the 7 will be the nuts.
I'll let you know...

9's and 10's are usually all good if it's a decent brand- wish we had the wind for them more often!

How about 11,12,13 sizes - anything special or just decent smooth c kite feel?
Bottom end grunt ? Boost?

Anyone compare say the 12/13 to the 12 09HP?

Hi Kurt,

My first ride on the C4's was the 12m. I felt it was an excellent kite but lacked the "zing" I was used to. It was lost on me, the fact that it was a 12m and that all I had really flown before that was 10m Cores and such.

Here is my original un-updated review of the 12m C4. I really need to update these reviews to reflect the 9m and 10m differences too.

I later thought about it and considering it was a 12m kite, in perspective it really is an excellent kite and has a remarkable wind range and speed.

Best idea is to give one a fly. The whole C4 range is truly an amazing bunch of kites and no one kite stands out as being better than the others, I just love small super, fast kites so am in love with the 9m.

Does this help?

Cheers,

KH
