Hy guys,

I'll arrive in Bali on the 19th of May for 20days but I don't even know if I should head East West or North. Does anybody know where to go kiting considering I wanna move from the tourist crowd of Bali after few days. so if you have done a trip in Indo before please tell me where you enjoyed. what about Lombok? Can I kite on the Gili Islands?

Cheers!

What style are you looking for.

For waves, West Java (Turtles) or Sumbawa (Lakey's).

I did Lakey's and got a fair bit of wind when I was over there (late July). Only one other kiter, but I was told there is usually more.

Had a couple of kites in Lombok, around Kuta area. Waves no where near as good, but the people were amazed by it, like they have never seen it before. Wind wasn't as strong either.

Try a search here on Sumbawa.

Or just sheep it up with all the others at Sanur...

Hello there,
Gili no wind.
Sumbawa no wind yet.

Best call would be South of Lombok, around Kuta..
Bye Jankie
