for a few years running WAKSA and red kite used to have the red kite downwinder from Leighton to Scabs. I noticed this wasn't on last year. Anyone know why? Is it totally canned or will it be back this year?

I don't know much about this event, so went to have a look on the website there. No info whatsoever apart from there is a downwinder on 23rd November. No info on where it starts or ends, if there is a bbq, anything at all. Nothing even comes up at all when you search 'events'. I must be missing something???? Or is it just a terrible website.....

WAKSA may need to add a few more details to the website, hold tight im sure they'll get to it asap and the council approvals have gone through.

The downwinder has always been from Leighton beach to Brighton beach. Registration at brighton beach from lunch time, everyone gets on the bus and heads down. Last time they kick on to Clancy's at city beach as WAKSA members get a nice little discount drink and feed there.

Dont stress about the specifics, its a pretty casual get together to raise money for a great cause..will be bringing out the onsie for this

Looking forward to it!
