WA , what a state
Just got back from a kite discovery with exmouth kite ( good mate tom) and my best buddy rick from the uk, the trip had it all,
Stunning flat water, crazy fishing, wildlife, amazing scenery, 6hr 4wd gig to get to these spots, a ripper boys trip, big creatures and little creatures( pale ale)
I'm humbled to live in this stunning part of the world,

Thanks for sharing our moment
Back to reality this week
Triton is in 2wd instead of 4
Tyres are 36 lb instead of 16
And when I look in the mirror the tradies trailers there instead of the boat

Understatement, it's my all time fave spot, I've visited , kited, care taked, explored and fished the island for 10 yrs, and it still blows me away, dived with whale sharks and mantas off turtle bay, shark encounters of the biggest kind, the whole region is littered with the most pristine water, add to that some cracking wind, we headed to some new spots, off shore island kiting, words and pics carnt describe the feeling ,

Cauncy, great post mate. Am feeling your stoke for the great place we live.
Did a trip to Shark Bay over New Years, kiting on the way up, while there and on the way back. We are truly blessed with an amazing coastline.

Australia is just amazing. We're so blessed here.

Cauncy - permission to use one of your pics for my screen saver? The one with the board upright on the sand. That is magic

Cauncy, have you stayed at the Ocean Villa? 15 years ago all we had was the block!

What is the track in like? Would a standard prado make it to the barge?

Don't who was more surprised,
Us seeing sharks, dugong, turtles, bone fish, rays, and hundreds/thousands of fish, or them seeing 3 kiters
It is a very special spot amongst others to kite
Stunning
Ricks still pinching himself over that trip, great to have you along dude

Agree, I've had the pleasure of kiting this spot every year with the odd local or 2
Last visit was a shidt fest
However you can lose the crowds up there, plenty of cracking coastline
