I have an old steamer with a buggered zip.

Thinking of fixing the zip and converting to a short arm steamer.

Firstly, can anyone recommend a wetsuit repairer, and secondly, is it even worth it?

Cheers

It's never worth spending money on old suits. The rubber loses its warmth and new suits are ridiculously cheap.

Don't cut the arm off.
I did it once then realised the end of the cut off is not snug like the cuffs at the end of a normal sleeve so they leak too much.

It doesn't work. Fix zip and keep as-is or buy new.
