Just wondering if anyone knows what happened here? Pretty full on in Perth Saturday, but Sunday seemed tame.
kited at north mullaloo for the first time saturday late morning with 3 or 4 guys I I didn't know, pretty exciting at the end when the wind really came in!
Now your not gonna believe it but I can confirm that the guy rescued was Pilot Pete.
If true, what a gumby.

But just a little colder!
Dave - if you were the dude on the north kite and surfboard we had a brief chat at mullaz on Saturday before you set up, also assisted on your last landing. Kudos to you for coming back on to the beach after you had packed up and helping Jim land when the 40knot squall hit. I was further up the beach and had just punched out. Much tamer today. Good to see fellow kiters looking after others they don't know.
Yes that was me... I think Jim was pretty relieved as he was battling to hold onto his kite. I think he was about to hit the safety too. Good session!
I was rigging up on sunday morning but decided against it when I saw a waterspout a few k's offshore. I imagine they would generate good boost though, I'm kind of regretting being a wimp now.
Had an awesome time at woodies on Sunday. Got down and had beach 3 to myself for 30mins before being join by a small crew of 5, wind was awesome!
Unfortunately someone got swept down wind about 1km towards coogee when the wind dropped. Hopefully he was ok!
Managed to find the pic of the guy I asked to jump over the rocks for the camera guy. Hope your on the forum...I was on the 10m park...cheers for the kite loop tips
