Hi i'm a 22 yo girl from Denmark, who just booked a ticket from Denmark to Perth: my only company- a kitebag!

During my first month in Australia I'll travel around in a surfvan with a friend of mine- after that, I have no plans at all. Therefore i'm seaching for someone/ones who are seaching for a young, funny, positive kitegirl to travel with.

I'm a intermediate kitesurfer who has been kite'ing for almost two years. I'm good at up,-and downwind, some unhooked freestyle tricks and just startet to do blind. I'm also in to traditional surfing and wakeboarding. At the moment i'm in Brazil praticing kitesurfing with some friends.

Are you the one/ones i'm seaching for please contact me. You can find me on Facebook; Anne Sofie Borregaard Andersen.

Come on JP, if she's coming to Perth? Its safer than Woolf Creek, and much better kiting.

Does anyone have some adwise how to find that, and where I have search? :)

ok the humour doesnt translate,

I asked which state? if you go to wa for example, you wont need to travel too much. with 2 kites at your weight, the wind wont be a problem.

Hang out at any beach with somewhere to stay and I dont think you will have any trouble finding travellers. In Perth go with the flow.

Hi Dave- thanks, that was usefull. I would like to go from perth to augusta (i have heard that is a nice trip).

I'll bring my TT and a 7-9-11m2 North Dice. I would maybe just make a sign which says "Augusta" and hope for the Best ;)

That shouldn't be to hard, during the summer months here in Perth there will, be heaps of like minded travellers like your self. It may not seem like it but the kite scene is actually pretty friendly over here with plenty of people that will be about to launch and land your kite. If I was you just rock up at one of the popular kite spots (They are all listed for you on the waksa website) and have a chat to some of the other kiters, there is bound to be someone keen. Augusta is pretty much only 3.5hrs south of Perth no where near wolf creek, so don't worry about that lol. If worst case you don't find someone which I highly doubt, there will be other kiters floating about around Augusta, if you have to make the 3.5hr trip by yourself just use the navigation system on your phone, you'll be right .

If she travelled a bit further than Little Wolf Creek and Big Wolf Creek she could be the first to kite Lake Gregory.

I've had some friends find travelling buddies to split the costs for road trips on gumtree.com.au

If you head north from Perth a bit Lancelin has a kite friendly backpackers 500m from the beach.
