Hey all,
I was cruising the BOM and Seabreeze websites and could not locate a Wellington point Wind meter???
What reading do the locals who kite at Wellington point use??? is it a combination of Brisbane airport / Peel Island or another????
Cheers

inner beacon (N to E) and Peel (E to SE), for westerlies take a guess it'll be up and down anyway and way too cold, the airport is generally 5-10 knts less.
If the beacons are yellow arrows, bring a chair (and beers) hopefully it will come up! if they are green get out of work quick time....
A webcam is about to go up shortly at wello. You will be able to see how many riders are out on the water via our website. Camera will be set to take still pics every 2 minutes between 6am and 11pm. The one at Sandgate is already up, and the one at Brighton is about to go up too.
Anyone can view it via our site. It's on the front page - www.surfconnect.com.
DJS is spot on. You have to interpret a bit.
There was website called Welloweather that uploaded data from a weatherstation, that I think was at someones house on the point. The link went down a couple of months back though unfortunately and does not seem like coming back.
Very shortly now. All components arrived. The brighton one is half installed already.
