Hi Guys,
Trying to decide where to go for a weekend away from Sydney kiteboarding in the next couple of weeks. Thoughts at the moment, good old trusty Huskisson in Jervis bay or Culburra. However, am keen to go somewhere different. I have never kited Fingal Bay anybody give me some info on Fingal Bay.
I've got the whole family, so caravan park is a must. How far is the park from the kiteing beach at Fingal. Any other ideas would be much appreciated between Nelson bay and Jervis Bay.
Thanks guys I really appreciate any suggestions.

I was down Culburra way a few weeks back with the visiting folks from the UK and the family. First time down there and it was lovely.....just wish I'd had room to take kite gear LOL! Took a drive over to Callala Beach one evening and that looked like a nice spot for a flatwater kite (although there was nobody out that evening).
Looking forward to going down there again sometime before long with gear ![]()
Am I right in thinking Huskisson is on the other side of the inlet?
Mate,
You are spot on. It is an awesome spot I love it for kiteing flatwater. If you want a surf you have to get in the car but for the family it is awesome. We stay at Huskisson Beach resort (public caravan site), it has a little pool, couple of playgrounds and a magic bike path to ride with the kids. It also goes straight to the Huski pub for a quick schooner and some quality pub grub.
Everytime I have been I have pretty much scored good wind too.

Bloody good question!!!!!!
Ofcourse, after going for a dawny the mornings will be spent hanging with the family before the wind picks up and hitting the water in the arvo!!!
It is a juggling act, the dawny will be sacrificed if it looks like the wind is going to be on.[}:)]
We love hanging at the beach and to be honest I don't spend as much time as I used to in the water since we've had kids, that's for sure.
