Does anyone have a good weather station that links to WiFi or computer? My old man wants one for Christmas but got no idea where to start looking.

Hi Wishy

it depends how much you're willing to spend and how much accuracy / reliability you're looking for.

As with anything else you get what you pay for:

www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=wifi+weather+station&_sacat=0

As you can see, plenty of choices in the $200 to $400 range. Plenty of reviews about these on YouTube as well.

Definitely NOT ''professional'' equipment at this price range, but can do the trick.

I've been looking at these guys for a while holfuy.com/en/shop/

They are based in Hungary so you have to wait longer for delivery and a complete station will cost you around $1000 or more. The great thing is that they are standalone with SIM card, so set it up and forget about it. Also the ultrasonic sensors is much more reliable, accurate and doesn't require any maintenance.

You also have true professional weather stations from Davis Instruments: www.davisinstruments.com.au/stations

I believe many of these are used on mine sites, etc.

Happy shopping,

Christian
