Great post, cheers! Inspiring in many ways! I trust our kite and board manufacturers are doing their best to minimise pollution along their supply chain and in manufacturing too. I'd be happy to hear of any initiatives on this front.

This is awesome...Now if we could all stand up and fight the giant oil cartels who have a vested interest in keeping the plastic IN our oceans it would be even better. The science is out there. Plastic is out of date. Hemp produces better degradable products. A young Turkish invented a biodegradable bag made from used banana skins. It takes a collective effort to get this job done, and thank goodness the awareness is spreading. Thanks for the morning stoke!

+1 the bananana skins. We grow our own banananas at home (legally) and you'd be surprised what one can do with their skins - just about anything from bags, stubby holders, basic clothing, and yeah - you can eat it too - fried with vegies and a stir fry sauce of your choice. It's magical stuff.
