Watch out for a faded red ford laser prowling around the perth car parks.
While I was out at cottesloe today it pulled up next to my car and they started fidgeting around it. I came straight in and must have spooked them as they got back in the car quick time and sped off.
I parked next to them at Leighton yesterday arvo. Wasn't sure if they were waiting to break into cars or pick up drugs.
Me: Gday fellas
Them: Goin windsurfin cuz?
Me: Ah yeah man (not going to try explain the kite thing)
Them: You're crazy, too cold eh! We're just waiting for someone here eh.
Me: Haha. Cool.
Them: Wanna sell your rims bro?
(We have the same car - red laser, except mine is shiny and has factory rims)
*Laughs* Say goodbye and they bail towards Cott.
I saw them at woodies the other day as well. But there is now a very regular security patrol down there which is good to finally see. It's run by the council and the cockburn police to catch there mother F....rs. I spoke to the guy yesterday and they said that they will be stepping up more patrols as we move closer to summer.

I had a couple of bro's hanging around my car at Penguin Island carpark last season. I could see them from the beach looking rather dodgy, looking through windows etc.
I started to walk over and once they realised I was onto them they pretended to have a look at the ocean, then jumped into their car and drove off.
I thought it was a commodore wagon they drove but this was almost a year ago. It may have been red!
Here's an idea .If you are part of a regulars crowd get a local club going and all chipin and employ a kite slave .They can help pump up kites launch/ land and keep a presence and an eye on the car park .They can also keep an eye out for visiting euro's and charge them a small fee to help pay for the kitebitch who will keep an eye on their wicked van (or ask them to leave 
)
or set up a dummy car and hide and catch the person and beat the living eff out of them so it sends a message to the others :)
