I was in a situation today where my Naish Cult did not flag and it caused me considerable grief. I inspected the kite later on shore and found that the doubled over and stitched end of the flagging line had jammed halfway along it's length in the stainless swivel. Problems with the swivel have been previously reported by other members but was supposedly fixed with a redesigned swivel. I have the redesigned swivel. Please take note that it was not the mini 5th line (yellow) to frontline join that jammed but the actual front line as explained earlier.
I will not use the 2009 swivel system again and am going back to the normal 2008 flagging system (red ball) even though it is an inconvenient flagging system.
I have reported this incident as a safety issue and hope that other Naish owners take note - it is not my intention to bag Naish or start a thread going on leashing systems.
I think this may have been discussed at length in a previous thread-have a search, I recall there being a mod or a replacement part offered by Naish.
