According to the website its scheduled for the Saturday, 9 January 2010 2:00 PM (ie not the 8th) but hey whats it matter if you arrive a day early - a solo session before the comp will put you in the right mood!

Despite the forecast steadily improving for Saturday, it has been decided to postpone the event again, this time to Sunday the 17th of January in place of the originally scheduled downwinder.
This decision has been made as a result of a lack of volunteers for the day. The vast majority of the WAKSA crew have other committments this weekend and there aren't enough left to make the event work.
Here's hoping for some big wind on the 17th.
Looks like now that we've got the people, we don't have the wind. Plans for the big air comp this weekend have been cancelled. WAKSA's next event will be a social downwinder on Australia Day.
Perhaps we could have the Big Air at the terminus of the Down Winder? Then we will really see who has legs left.
