Hey guys,

Doing a three week road trip to W.A. starting from down South all the way around hopefully up to Exmouth.

It will be in mid November for three weeks.

What kite sizes do you think I should bring for that time of year? What sort of wind strength is average for then.

If anyone had any good locations that are worth checking out please PM me. Don't want to advertise it. Would do the same for anyone coming to my neck of the woods. (Sth Coast NSW). Surf prerferably. Not really keen on flat water.

I was thinking 8,10,12. Wondering whether a 6 would be required. Don't want to be overdone or undergunned.

Im intermediate 95kgs. Usually don't bother with an 8 till at least 20knots over here.

Thanks in advance.
EB.

allow for somewhere between 10 knots and 30 knots +
windier as you go north
depends on the season and the week, your quiver should be fine, just be prepared to decide if the 8 is ok in 20-30 knot days, lot of crew have a 7

Seems a decent quiver size for wa, it's all dependant on how the season goes though, last year my 7 and 8 were my bread and butter, if your riding a surfboard you'll get a few sessions where a 6/7 would be handy , the real strong sessions tend to be a bit later, exmouth may warrant something a bit smaller in November, the 12 will give you an early session but the wind quickly picks up , plenty of spots along our coast , once out of Perth it doesn't get busy enough to warrant secrets, enjoy your trip and call in Dongara and say hi
