The forecast for Sunday looks good. We have a forecast of wind from mid morning, a high period west swell and low tides. So we are good to go for a one day comp on Sunday.
Location is south Brighton, we will pick the best bank on the day. Set up starts at 9 am - please come down to help out, we are alll volunteers. The briefing will be at 10 am with first heats in the water as soon as possible after that. We expect to wrap up around 6. Presentations are at the Doubleview bowls club straight after wrap up.
Get your registrations in, see below for details. As always, everyone's a winner - Kite Addiction / Cabrinha have donated a prize for every competitor!
I will be doing some downwinder "wrecking-ball" style kiting through there on a twintip just before dinner time.
Will make sure to stay behind the breakers through that bit.

I'll roll through for a downwinder around midday on a strapless surfboard, blissfully ignorant of the guys in fluorescent tops who I will drop in on.
Seeing action on the beach, i'll then tack back into shore, dropping in again. Upon realising there is a guy with a camera, i'll then attempt a strapless 360 and drop both the board and the kite in the process. I'll then spend about 10 minutes body dragging with my kite at 45 degrees across the break, finally recover my board, hit a final couple of sets and then finally shoot off downwind between the flags at Brighton, where i'll show a few kiddies in the shallows my awesome duck tack up close. Then self land, also between the flags, and grab a cold beer.
It's gunna be an AWESOME DAY! ![]()
