How do i stop my kite going to lunch with these?

I split my fingers for every trick i do and my kites don't wander, but for this trick it always heads for 12. I'm thinking that perhaps i stall out the full rotation too early and perhaps put too much pressure on my front hand too early... suggestions?

Keep more pressure on your leading hand before take off. If you really have problems consciously turn the kite down with that lead hand before taking it off the bar. Another tip is to actually have the kite moving down slightly on take off, even if you have the kite low but straight it will always have a tendency to turn up.

Change to a foil or LEI kite, that stunt kite in your avatar looks like it would turn too quick

Quick turning kites are the best for tricks, didn't you know that? That's why all companies make kites faster and faster every year.

Are you dropping a hand off the bar or are you pulling to your hip with both hands?
