Hi, I've got a week in Perth,
could anyone suggest 3 top beaches to kite at that are popular, don't want to be alone.
Will hire a car so can drive to Margaret river etc.
If they have a backpackers nearby even better!
I'm 70kg, should I bring a 6/8/10?

See the surf ones.. Not sure if there is a back packers in scabs any more.. But I you should be able to track down somewhere cheap near by.. Check out the down winder bus in the wa section.. Might work out well for ta.
Otherwise head south, back packers in margs
Or Lancelin..
What dates are u coming? If it's earlier in the season u might want to bring a slightly larger one. Can't really help on that front as I'm 20kgs heavier. But doing downwinders, u won't need anything too big.
might go to Lancelin, wind looks good, is the swell tolerable at 2ft? or is it more of a ripple?
Arriving 31 of November, in a week and a half.

We're so backward, it's still October over here
Lets see if you have a car...
Anywhere from Exmouth to Esperance is all doable.
Judging by the fact that you're looking for accommodation... I'd suggest Margaret River, Lancelin or around Geraldton.
9m and this time of year you may want to pack an 11/12.
The further north you go the better the chance of a seabreeze. Going south depends on the weather - if the forecast looks good, go south. Not good, then go north.
For Perth only - the beaches are on WAKSA's website. Surf spots are basically all north of Leighton

2ft at Lano will hardly be breaking
and there is 500m of flat on the inside before you get to the break
you will be fine, it is nice and easy
come to geraldton and learn to windsurf, make the most of your trip

It's the new daylights savings time. you wind the clock forward by 721hrs. This way you get to experience getting up earlier than the rest of Australia as well as Christmas and New Years comes quicker.
Nah seriously if you like waves, go for a trip to Margret river. While you are down there check out Augusta. The river mouth is great fun.
Be keen to hear how overrated you think WA is Salt.
You've probably got better waves at home.
Surfie Boy really knows WA.
He spent a whole week here once.
lol.
yeah, if you happen to have a week in WA while there's a heat trough, it really fcks the kite trip, may as well go snorkelling
