Victorian Titles Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th April 2008![]()
As planned the Victorian Kiteboarding Titles are proposed to be held over this coming weekend at Pier Road StKilda between 1.00pm and 6.00pm. Look for the flags and the tents. Obviously the program is subject to weather conditions. ![]()
Apart from the weather a barbeque
with refreshments
will be run from 2.00pm onward on the Saturday for all KBV members so even if you are not competing we would encourage you to attend to socialize with other KBV Members.
The proposed Program is as follows;
1.00pm to 1.30pm Kick-off with Competitor Registration. Events will include Freestyle, and Big Air. Unfortunately the Course Racing will not be run this weekend. There are four Event categories Mens, Womens, Groms [16 and under] and Masters [35 and older], for both Freestyle and Big Air.
1.30pm Briefing of Competitors
2.00pm to 6.00pm Barbeque with refreshments
2.00pm to 6.00pm Competition Period.
Obviously the timing of the event will be dependent on the number of competitors, the structure of the heats and weather conditions. If the competition cannot be completed on the Saturday it is proposed to complete the program on the Sunday commencing at 2.00pm.
If neither day is suitable it is planned to rerun the events on the following weekend. Watch for emails regarding timing and the program.
We look forward to seeing you all there.

Hi huddo
what do we need to bring to show we are KBV members.
is the harness tag enough or do we need the card?
Is it free to enter aswell and will we still go if there is no wind and maybe have a landboarding comp or something?
ewan
Hi Ewan![]()
We will have a membership list but if you have the tag or card that's fine.
You must be a KBV member to compete and participate and it is free.![]()
Hi All
We're on tomorrow
- forecast is afternoon sea breezes to 15knts
- so may be marginal - but the barbeque
