Sandgroper HTFU. Your post comes across as "I want a swim then a late start for work, a latte and a manicure by 11, a peticure by 12, tints and hair extensions by 7, a massage by 8 and a chat over a chardonnay about my torid time as a sleep deprived kitesurfer". Don't break a nail over daylight savings. I'm getting my mate in WA to vote for DLS so the rest of the crew can get muchos kiting after work and you have to HTFU and buy a water resistant torch.

Groper not all eastern states have daylight saving .............This is the reason Anna Blight is not getting my vote, she stated there will never be daylight saving under her watch. A friggin minority rulz decision.

This is the biggest load of BULLSH!T I have ever heard! Do you go to sleep at exactly the same time every night and wake at the same time every morning for every day of the year? Of course not. So how can 1 hour make a difference? Have you ever got up early? Had a late night? Caught a plane into another time zone?

I'm sorry boys & girls but I'm a late starter. I wake up with the sun in winter and grudgingly start work at 9:30. I like my late starts in summer tho because I have enough early morning time to have a swim after a hot night, and I go to work totally energised.

Sunrise in the middle of summer is about 5.30am. If you don't start work till 9.30am then this gives you 4 hours to go for a swim. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? Imagine if you could finish work at 5.30pm and kite till 9.30pm????? That would require 2 hours of daylight saving. I think SG is too lazy to get out of bed and go for a swim.

You're not old enough to vote.

Or drink for that matter. And you're not supposed to actually include the directions your dad emailed you as well. (and you didnt even get that right!) Here let me help..,

kitecrazzzy should have said...daylight savings will be defeated because no one likes you

And the 1st bit of which I agree with - DS will be defeated.

Now get yer dad a beer, then sit down and behave, or its off to your room and no telly.

THIS MORNING WAS STILL DARK AT 7AM. IF DAYLIGHT SAVING IS VOTED IN IT WILL BE DARK DURING SUMMER EVEN AFTER 7AM!!!!!
IMAGINE GETTING UP AT 6AM TO HAVE A SWIM BEFORE WORK AND HAVING TO WAIT OVER 1 HOUR BEFORE DAYLIGHT!!!!!

Oscar Wilde summed it up beautifully

"only Dull people are bright in the morning'

Still as true today

He also said "Work is the curse of the drinking classes.", which reminds me of the the Frank Sinatra quote "I feel sorry for people who do not drink. When they wake up in the morning it is as good as they are going to feel all day.". I quite like that one.

Some times you have to work it out its still light in the morning in the middle of summer and it doesnt make the grass grow quicker or the cows milk go bad all you are doing is using the sunlight that you have slept through in the morning to go Kiteing in the arvo when the winds up
Crawl out from under that rock and get upto date

Adding on to the Frank Sinatra quote....Mae West, another heave drinker, once said "You only live once, but if you do it properly, that's all you need!"
