while kite accidents will occur and I am not saying its the case here but this rings a strong warning to any wannabe kite-surf instructors without proper qualifications, permits or insurance. I know have been a few lurking around in the past, not so sure now.

They are definitely in big trouble. 11 pm is way to late in the day for kiting lessons.

Are you sure the incident happened under their instruction?

Whoever the instructor was it seems the incident was handled in a professional manner as they suspected a spinal injury, they acted accordingly and seeked medical assistance.

The RAC helicopter was deployed which made the scene look a lot worst than it was but I guess it is always better to be prepared for the worst.

From the latest report the girl is fine and it is nothing else than a bruise.
