G'day guys. I have very small fins on my twintip and it is becoming a pain sliding out everytime chop hits me.

Im a bit broke so i was thinking of just replacing the heel side fins on my board with some deeper ones. would this have any negative side effects?

Or if anyone wants to swap for some smaller fins

Unless you ride toe side heaps you'll get away with it for sure.

Before I discovered locktite I had fins drop off my board all the time, those crap ones, not the G10 stuff, and I'd always run fins on my heel edge and sometimes non on te toe side.

It's not ideal, but if you hardly go toe side you'll hardly notice them.
