Hey everyone!

Would like to know if such a board exist on the market?

There might be a time when similar option would be great. Scratched one rail down to the core and reversing footpads for example would give more life to this board.

What do you think?

Thx.

D.

I would have thought you can swap the directionality on all boards? just remove the bindings flip the board and re-attach them.

If it's a twin tip it should be the same either way.

How? Not even the North binding rail system can do that, if I'm not mistaking.

On a twin tip? That's what I'm asking since none of any TT's I've seen you can do that!

Anyone ?

Dont know if you are serious, but if you have worn the board down on one side you might as well just drill some holes through it the place the straps where ever you want, cause the next trip will be to the tip

Yep, in the above example this would be the only option, you're right.

What I do not understand is WHY there is no such a board on the market. Or is it?

Hi Adrian from Underground and now Axis Kiteboarding. Our new Axis Inferno has the inserts along the centreline and as the laminate is balanced you could mount the bindings to ride either side. Our Axis Vanguard, Patrol and Limited all have asymmetric laminates with Uni carbon under the heelside only. These are designed to be ridden from one side only, we have offset the inserts to indicate they should be ridden from one side only.
Cheers Adrian

You can do that with my shinn I think, just has two screw options each side, either closer or wider... So it could be flipped and rode the other way...

Yes i Have a shinn and thought you would be able to. Obviously some boards just dont have the option.

Any board with the inserts all in one line it is possible.

I know liquid force started this in their kite boards with the 2012 models.

and slingshot has this aswell. Not sure about other brands

2013 Liquid force boards have something called Inline Inserts, so if you bust up one rail can switch binding around to ride the other rail.

If you board has a straight mounting system should work.

Tape up the worn rail both sides to form a tough, with masking tape, pour in any good epoxy and then clean up.
