Did anyone else see a massive turtle at Leighton last night? It surfaced about 5m downwind of me. I think it was a Leatherback - the largest of all living sea turtles according to Wikipedia. By my estimate it was about 1.4m long.
Just glad I didn't run into it or land on it 
Would have been painful for both parties!
Didn't see it yesterday, but saw a massive Leatherback off Floreat towards the end of last season.
