Heres some simple advice for blasting hard n fast upwind !
CHANGE YOUR FIN SIZE to 3 inch
It'll let you point higher + give you more drive off the bottom end.
I had 2.5s then changed to 3s only on the heel side - now it rockets upwind !
Last weekend I spoke to a guy who had a few lessons then bought some gear... an awesome double concave board - but only had like 1cm fins on it !
WTF & then he explained he had trouble staying upwind though his skills were reasonable.
To me that extra 1/2 inch was like a bolt on Turbo
A definate must to try, even if you borrow someones for a few bog laps till your converted & match the Poleys pointing advantage.. ooohhhh
