I watched some youtube videos about how to trim my bar using the different knots at each end of the bar. However it would only be perfectly trimmed in between two knots.
So my question is now what is better and maked my kite stall less?
a) When the steering lines are slightly slack when fully powered.
Or
b) When fully powered the bar don't touches the end of the chickenloop by 3 cm. (And in this case is it importatnt to alway depower the kite a tiny little bit ? )

What is your definition of perfectly trimmed? I have always seen and been told that with depower fully disengaged and all lines at equal tension a 2 finger distance (about 30mm) between bottom of bar and top of rotor is correctly trimmed. I think you would need to be out by at least 100- 150mm for oversheeting/stalling to become a noticable issue. I trim my bars by moving the knot at the depower rope handle. By doing this you only rely on one knot to trim all lines.
If you wanted to have the bar exactly at the rotor with all lines under equal tension the easiest thing would be to move the knots accordingly or tie extra knots.

B: although it would be better to move the knots so lines are the same length when your trim strap is all the way out.
On on a side note: if your steering lines are slack when you are fully powered then you can never have full control of steering your kite effectively.
most of my kites are sensitive to sheeting, so i always tune my lines to be equal length when sheeted in so there is no chance of backstall... i never really understood the point in setting that point a few cm away from the chicken loop. plus, the lines will get stretched out again after 2 sessions anyway ![]()
on the middle kite knot btw... you can ride oversheeted if you want by connecting to the knot closer to the kite on the rear lines
