Thursday looks like it may be ok nw. Is canton the best spot near toowoon bay? If not, where do you reckon. Leaving in the morning.
Reason I ask is haven't kited much during winter. This year I want to kite more this winter but Sydney is not exactly great during the winter months unless you travel. Travelling can be hard with wife and young kids.

Nah its crap and doesn't work in NW, go there some time and have a look, you'll soon see why. Works best in seabreeze or SSW, south to SE conditions. Locals dominate the very small bay, not a place for the faint hearted of those still learning. You need to be competent and willing to give way and share to enjoy this place. Also respect the surf club area and the flags!
I suppose it will be the short drive south to picnic point? That would be the best spot?
