well they are alot better than drop, element, jamie pro, ect.... really really smooth and the wood core takes all the shock i rate them highly and would boost big because you would be able to hold a sick edge at very high speeds

hey greenlander as soon as i find a camera that can zoom out far enough and doesnt blur trying to keep up .
perhaps its time to put all those years of wisdom (and there are quite alot ) to show everyone how good you are at making kite boards - as you seem to know so much on what is good and should be able to make the best board on the market with your first attempt.
The only problem i can see you having is that it will be built in Australia and you seem to have a problem with supporting locally made products .
dont worry i wont bring them to the gold coast so you wont loose any bussiness . what ever happened to the carefree sailboard builder who did it for the enjoyment .
it seems he grew up . became a businessman and despises anything that he cant make a buck off !

i have made sailboards for a long time but just started building kite boards . so not sure if iam the kaos you are thinking of
i rode alot of boards and couldnt find any thing that suited me , as i have been making epoxy sandwich boards for seven years it not much of a problem to build a custom for myself . i can have the latest design with all the good stuff inside and a timber finish and know that i have a one of kind board made in west australia for half of the retail price, isn't a bad thing

lol kaos, i'll just take my tongue out of my cheek and say good on you for building boards and i certainly encourage anyone to do the same who wishes to experience the fun involved in the pursuit.
unfortunatly my epoxy days are over, as when i go near even epoxy fumes my skin breaks out in red weeping weltsa side effect of working with the stuff for 20+ years. i really miss not being able to make boards and i really like following construction, material and technique threads here. so keep on doing what you're doing.
