Mojo wants to sell Best and he can't at the moment due to someone already servicing his area - plain and simple.

Harden the *** up mate, and stay positive, you have one of the best board brands going, and some solid kite product as well.

Yes I do have some good brands & excellent kites to sell. But It ****s me when I am told by the importer that thay want to do bussiness & then someone hears about it & starts a boycotte to stop supply. Especially when we we are here for the kiters, working with the life guards & counsil to save Maroochy beach, for the kiters. Not just selling kites to make money. We have kites new to the coast that are excellent that we can sell for $1100.00 brand new. We give free lessons to people that by a package. 1, to service & help them. 2, So thay know there safety for themself & others & 3, to try to educate them before thay hit the beach, so we don't have so many knobs on the beach.
Big brands & certain importers don't want competition & coerce together so most kiters are ignorant to the available brands out there. As far as Karma, I do not like being taken advantage of, two be used as a barganing chip, to increase orders for certain importers, rather than fair business trading. ( If you dont understand go to the ACCC & look at the fair trading laws, rights & responsibility of importers.) Yes I do feel burnt. To be told one thing & then be told the contrary just to take advantage of the situation. So it's not that plain and simple. Especially when all the local kiters want a local shop & are supporting me to the best of their ability under the circumstances. I don't need to toughen the f#!k up. I am as ready as they come. We do have good brands & we can sell kites for as little as $1000.00 below recommended retail. New boards for $650, not 07 gear new 08 gear. What did you pay for your 12m ? $1600- $1800. 14m $1700-$2100 ?. You could of got a kite from me, say a 12m for $1350 or a 14m $1500. It's all good, I don't mean to sound rude but some people give me the ****s, Just keeping it real.

OK, I reckon if you improved your English skills, and learnt that "thay" is actually spelt "they", then you would definitely improve the marketing of yourself and your products, but then again ... when you announce you can sell kites so cheap, who really cares?!

I'm intrigued!

What kites/boards are you talking about and how much are "they" exactly?

Cheers,
Diz

where as when my north board got a random air bubble it was replaced within a week.

and all the 06 and below models of kite was built with very poor quality and wore out within 6 months. newer stuf was a bit better.. but yeah sick bus other then that, i wonder wat actualy caused the fire, the desrciption wasnt very in depth.

Yeah.....how unlucky is that?? I've had the 'flaming brake pads' thing before, but never bad enough to burn the rest of the vehicle

Ok Then,

Were do we start,

Firstly Charl, You purchased your board outside of Australia and still we were able to track all the info for you, supply you a new board and service you. Buy a Best product from a retailer in Australia and there would be minimal drama.

We do everything we can to make you guys happy. One or two slip ups is what I class as human error not ignorance.

Joe

HI mate,

Its unfortunate you feel the need to blast this on a public forum, so I will need to respond i guess.

No one used any one, as we have spoken many times before, I felt it important to research the area after our initial conversation, and found that the 2 retailers in your arera are servicing it well and I would prefer to work with them harder to help develop the brand for them rather than just dump them and pass their hard work onto you. They have established businesses and the result of your dealer application being denied for now was not impacted from any one attempting to brand fix in your area. Politics need to be left out of the forums so I will leave it at that. Thanks

Well mojo, I take back the harden up bit after your spiel above.

But show some professionalism and don't slag off on forums - eg the crazy fly thread.

Looking forward to trying one of your burgers, it better be good or I'll come on here and say it's just a crap piece of meat between two average bits of bread - anyone could make one!

mojo should be able to sell your kites and you should tell the other kite stores to jam it.
sounds like Best is being held to ransom by some "higher on the food chain" ********.
it'd be nice to have a kite store that gave you a wide variety rather than some idiots pushing the one brand in your face.

What is wrong with you people? You all need to go for a kite, surf, or even wade in the water and relax. A story about a bus turned into a public whinge about private business and some weird neurotic guy complaining about bad speeling. You should move to Sydney where it is actually windy...... on second thoughts..... you should stay exactly where you are.
