How bad are kitesurfing videos compared to Surfing and Snowboarding?

I can't wait to see some Jack McCoy style Kitesurfing vids in the future.

what a trailer!. beautiful cinematography, mixed with awesome editing all hd, and amazing athletes. Inspirational. That kind of production quality is almost unmatched in the extreme sports world.

Yes he did! Half the jumps were bigger than most of the kite assisted jumps getting round here to.

Makes me want to fly to Canada tomorrow and carve it up...

Surfing vids cannot compare... On a snow movie you zoom out from the action and ge a sense of the sheer scale of the size of the mountain... Nothing compares to steep and deep...

my six year old has Shaun White snowboarding and you think in the game that is just not possible well i have just been proved wrong

it pains me to agree with you rowdy..but thats the jist of it...unbelievably big budget for that film..enough to feed a starving nation Im sure.

There's nothing like battling the ocean. Just you your kite and a 25 knot seabreeze it can't be beat. (sky diving,base jumping,wing suitting,snow boarding)it all takes a back seat to my kite.

lol young grasshopper...such comparisons are all relative.

yes snowboarding is mad ass but only if you take it to the next level - backcountry, mad tree runs, steep chutes or cliff drops. Cruising a groomer is not mad.

Sure, I would prefer to burn some steep tree runs in a metre of pow, or be spat out of a 5 second barrel at HT's than do a pull up boost in the river on my twinnie...

BUTTTT... I would prefer a nice long desert left on my surfboard and 6m catalyst than trying to hold an edge on a icy groomer with no features.

unfortunately, in reality heli-boarding is the domain of pro's and the wealthy... and for most, simply a pipedream.

board sports all compliment each other and if you do each to a decent level, you should love them all, almost equally....and you will simply crave the discipline you havent done recently.

agree, the Brainfarm films are top notch and fantastic to watch in HD.

I had the pleasure of being part of a few clips in "Thats it Thats all". Travis is a great guy and an amazing athlete. He fronted a lot of his own cash to put TiTa together and Im sure he probably did the same for this one. He is pasionate about the sport and he gives back heaps.
