Thank you to whoever brought in my board which I lost a fair way out on long reef on Tuesday the 4th February I owe you a beer. It was a 140 cabrihna custom which I lost In a rip and though was long gone as was unable to body drag back up to it so thank you again to whoever brought it in and left it on the beach.

You're lucky it got brought back in -- some good stories about boards lost at ButterBox (Far end of Long Reef on the S side) I twice lost a board there, and a mate lost one there as well, over a matter of 4-5 years. Once it was so close in to the beach at the Lagoon I swam back out to retrieve it about 150m and by the time I got out there it had disappeared. All three times, they ended up on Shelly Beach the next morning (phone number on mine, and my mate had his turned in to the Police Station in Manly. As the crow flies, that's about 8km away.
