Went windsurfing to Pinnaroo Point this afternoon (wishful thinking)...
My boom snapped about 2-300m out and seeing I was in trouble, a fellow kiter come about to ask me if I was OK, and need any help. There was nothing he could do, so I thanked him.
I managed to get dragged to the shore slowly, however the guy kept sailing about until I was close to shore and he thought it was safe to move on.
I was impressed by the gesture, and thought it is worth telling the story.
