Yesterday I was having a brilliant session at Shoalwater, was able to get boosting more than before. But on one I brought the kite down too early, and knew I was going to crash heavily so kicked my board off prior. Crashed, and a panel on the kite ripped, it was barely flyable, I contemplated body draging to find the board but decided being ~700m out I should just make for the shore. After I sat on the beach feeling sorry for myself, and thinking I would have to walk downwind looking for my board, here came this bloke with my board back to the beach!
I just wanted to say thanks to that guy on the Airush 8m, at Shoalwater Bay yesterday, sincerely. I'm hugely grateful. Looking after each other gives us all hope Don't know your name but judging by your accent you're probably over here from Europe.
