Just wanted to say thanks Pete from BWS for the great service.
I had bought stuff in their shop in the past and when I was after a new bridle for my Noise kite he generously sent it to me for free.

I find the service always great at BWS, drive through is always convenient.... BUT... the beers are just never quite cold enough!

Suspect Bunnings and other large retailers are smart enough to take back your unwanted goods on the good chance that you will go and spend the refund (and likely more) on something else because you are already there. If not then at least you have had a good experience and will come back anyway. Also keeping well within consumer law means less hassles down the track.
I think the "fading" or "lost receipt" is also something that can be relied upon by major retailers, although Bunnings can look up the transaction and either way will accept one of their own unused items without a receipt for a credit note.
As for BWS... I don't drink (much) just kite in it.
I find it funny when guys hack on the quality of a kite.
Even though theirs is made in the same factory, their kite brand is so much better.
