Heading south around Xmas and trying to make some plans to work in a sesh or three but not sure of my chances! Will be staying in Hobart for some of the time and also in Orford. Where does the kite scene happen around Hobart, and how about that beach near Prosser river-mouth? Any choice spots in that area?

It's shaping up to be a good season here and you're coming at the right time. There's quite a few spots round hobart with a range of flatwater/ surf options. The new TKSA website will be live in a few weeks for you to check out - it will have some good info and contact details etc. Some hobart spots for you to check out include cremorne, clifton, marion bay, parkbeach...

Thanks Hicko, I'll definitely keep an eye out for the updated website. Haven't yet ventured into waves so maybe Cremorne will be the go for now. Any comments on Orford area would be appreciated.
