"you kite with a normal surfboard"
yep
"with straps on rite"
nope, just wax
"bullsh!t, so you jump pretty high huh"
no, just ride waves
"wat like jump m n stuff, yeh looks like fun"
nope, ride em like a surfer
"yeh rite, mite buy one hey. looks fun. can u teach me"

I like tophats classic response to when he gashed his head open and the doc asked what he was doing when it happened (it is on utube if ya wanna search)
"I surf, and just use a kite to tow me back out to get more waves, and no, no straps."

But there are some idiots out there....

I had this hot blonde chick come up to me one time after I'd just come in and she say's "don't you get hot in that wetsuit?"

What a bimbo....

You say she was HOT?....Next time...you say "Yeah, I'm damn hot" and you proceed to take OFF the wetty, exposing bare chest, broad shoulders.......
That's what she was waitin' for.

not really a question but i laughed..
i was "inside" the stupid yellow markers at peli point today, and some bird watchers told me to **** off, so i was like why? im not killing any birds, then they said i scare them away.... so i asked them how they dont scare them away too so i can do whatever they do to not scare the birds.

then

they told me my kite looked like a raptor and the birds were scared of it...
wtf is a raptor
some kind of dinosaur or something... anyway i laughed at them and kited off and tried to stay outa the markers but oh well it was funny as.

"Is it cold out there?"

"Do people normally fly 10's at Melville?"

At Melville guy looks down the beach a little and says "Looks like there is more wind getting in there!"

'What's the point of riding without straps, you can't jump'

'You must be a strong girl to be able to hold on to that'...haha

How much does it cost?
How do you come back the other way?
You must have strong arms to hold it.

Man they are definitely the top three. I get asked that crap all the time, I'm considering sticking an FAQ on my back! Even after I've told people multiple times, they still say "you must be strong" or "your arms must get tired from hanging on".

"How do you come back" would have to be up there too.

Flying my 3m foil on the beach, in my shorts and t-shirt, when the wind was cranking a little too much:

'Are you going to use that on the water?'

Sheesh.

What happens when you pull on this? (question asked by someone in Saudi while at the same time pulling it which resulted in my kite looping and me getting dragged down the beach - if they didn't have the death penalty in Saudi I would have hunted him down)

Is the kite really heavy?? .....After walking up the beach with it one handed.
So its just foam inside then??? As i finished, and a handful of fully grown men stand slumped over a 10cm high pump.
Are you sure its not exactly the same as wakeboarding??
