Been surfing for quite a while and ride a Lost Sub Driver 6' x 19.5 x 2.5 (31.5l) which is best in head high surf.
I have been kiting for 1 season and ended up on my old 6'6 riding strapless quite happily but have not been in the surf yet.
I'm looking at a North Pro Series 5'11 and the question is how would this go as a board which will mainly be used in Perth but also North and south of Perth but less frequently. I want a board that goes like a surfboard and is good for my weight at 85kgs, anybody have an opinion for a relative beginner who's fairly good at surfing to hop onto one of these? Is the size good for my weight?
Cheers

Kite the Sub Driver.
These things go amazing behind a kite!
To big for me at 75kg, but might be right for you.
North Pro is rubbish compared to a Lost SD.

Yeah I've come close to taking my SD out but don't want to sing it up, it's my only board and I love it. An option is taking it to a shaper and asking for something similar, strengthened but a little smaller..
Lost boards are awesome

Yeah thats the go, even a standard board off his rack will be sweet.
Less is more.
