We give state associations afair bit of stick; most of them started out as clubs many years back and now expected to do alot more for various reasons in their new roles as associations.
End of the day they are only member asscoiations (groups) run for and by the members; they are not goverment departments and dont have any special powers. They are run by volunteers who kindly offer up their peronal time.
By example, in WA only around 25 of the 650 members came to their agm.
These sort of questions are not asked there, or anywhere else that i can track down. So lets have it....
So what do members think the role of state assocations should be moving forward?
What should they be doing? Doing more of and less of?
What could they do better?
What should they spend members funds on?
What are they doing well?
