Spy Shots of 2011 gear

I'm quite excitable over new gear - I can't wait for the Triple-S every year - not because of the riding, but because of the new gear!!!!!!

I've found a few pics of the new stuff, namely the 2011 Cabrinha Custom, and 2011 Fuel + Darkside from Slingshot...

What has everyone else found!????

Currently at the 2010 Tripple S in Cape Hatteras kickin it with Ruben, Dre, Hadlow, Susi, Reinstra and the list goes on. plenty to look forward too in 2011 guys will try post some info on new gear after the event.


Hard as hell to get too from Aus but worth it specially for a long vacation or summer job.

Slingshot
Yes that is the 2011 Fuel and the board he is on is the new Lunacy. New slingy bindings didn't look too crash hot but the lunacy sure does.

Naish
Naish has a whole new kite lineup coming out which is sweet, not much on boards from naish except a reworked momentum.

North
North looks wicked as always, new team does anyways. Tom didn't bring any of the new kites or they are getting sneaky matching the graphics.

Cab
All of you seem pretty keen on the new custom so heres the DL. It has deeper channels than last years spanning to a flat section in the middle for those off axis landings. the base construction is beefed up and is a tiny tiny bit softer than this years +new sizes.

Liquid Force

Boards-New Influence and influence grind are both stiffer. + new board the DLX is definitely one to try for the wakestyle riders.
The kites have the same lineup just newer models.

it looks like their is a strut right where the black and white meets
there is just a middle strut then big gap then the 2 end struts

I heard 3 strut fuels were just protos and they were still going to have 5.
Also I think the sick SS board might actually be the new Darkside, not Lunacy. As they took a few down there for the team riders to ride, hot off the press. New sidewall construction with no abs to shatter, new bottom material even stronger than before, and some slight channels/concaves is what I heard. Oh and fasttrack system like in Burton snow.
Also a pair of the new slingy bindings should be kicking around to, get a pic of those for me.

yer it looks lke that fuel has 5 struts, just big gap between the middle and the two inner ones.

im confused hwo such a long strip in the fasttrack doesnt fark up the flex , and from what i recall most people weren't stoked on that lift you get from your binding on the burton set ups?

the new darkside looks alright this year though, nice clean outline would be interesting to see one.


ps lex did you fly all the way over just for that event??

don't worry sammyd... I'm sure you can rely on north to release yet another inconspicuous classic poo brown / "autumn turd" coloured kite again this year.

word is they're also making a seat harness in the same colour too.

Where did you get the pics? Did you get to see them in person or did you just find the pics???

Its one of those surfboard things, the kite is a drawing, look at the lines.

the talk on Kitescoop is that it is probably a cabrinha as he has just started with NPX which is Neil Pryde

I reckon we would of heard about it at the Cab conference if Ben was riding for Cabrinha... He's making his own gear for sure...

Btw, FLOW is gone... No more snowboarding for Neil Pryde... The word is he's going into the cycling market...
