So please team riders and others industry people lets not flood the review forum with spruiking
At least keep it honest and make your affiliations known

Spruik away I say, I love a good overly pumped up review and the argument that follows

Its what Kiters do when someone mentions Switch Kites or Engine Harnesses.
Looking at it from another prospective....How good is living here in Oz when we're complaining about positive reviews of sporting equipment. Maybe a little kite trip to Syria to get some perspective. I actually like the different reviewers, even the ones that sell or ride for a brand. I wish there were more video reviews. DM does great reviews with an understanding of styles and weights other than his own. Eppo loves his north but knows his kites, as does djodo & rowdy with ozone. Shops & team riders will get the gear first so they're usually first to ride and review. They also should provide feedback of models to manafacturer in case anything needs changing during production. I don't think it's any major conspiracy or your mind will be poisoned.
Disclosure- I pay for my kites!

Pearl I agree 1st world problems. But, an eloquent re-write of the marketing brochure to me is not a thorough review. A trustworthy review contains imho always some negatives as well. Every kite has some. And a proper review needs to include at least 3-4 other kites which fill the same segment, try to achieve the same thing, are targeted at the same rider. Shops mostly have only 2-3 in average on offer as they only represent a few brands. So the really useful review comes from those who know how to ride (average working population level, and not affiliated to any brand or shop) and have been using or at least demoing those similar but different kites. Now that would be a helpful review.
Well i have nothing to spurik these days unless you want a review on a 2012 reo or a 2013 edge....................
