Hi, I'm newbie to kiting and this forum and my main question is concerning the nationals in Townsville next month....I have booked 2 nights acom. for me and my 2 teenage kids.....hoping there will be enough kiting going on to keep us entertained for the sat – sunday. Interested in looking new gear, boards etc... ???
From looking at the course outline it looks pretty limited from the Strand perspective...do spectators have access to Rowe's beach to watch the slide park action etc...????
My ideal would be to sit on beach and watch all day...(through a xxxx lense or 2) or am I dreaming???? Lol
Hope it all goes well for all concerned, cheers!!
Hi Matrix, welcome to seabreeze ![]()
There is good access to the beach at Rowes Bay, you should be able to get a good view of the action.
Just keep your wits about you if you want to get too close with $$$ worth of camera, at last years nationals I saw a kite hit a camera lens and knock it off the camera body into the briney ![]()
