I don't often comment on photos posted but these are really good. Great timing and excellently composed!
The scenery doesn't half help too!
Nice work, thanks.
these are some of the best photos I've ever seen. I would love to come to tassie this summer for a road trip. Has anyone made a kiters map of tassie?

Don't you mean a "map of Tassie" , that's what we want to see he he he
Jokes aside great idea like a trip around Tassie kiting all the good spots sounds like an epic safari

No maps of Tassie, apart from the furry kind.
It's easy, look at Google Earth, study the weather and enjoy the adventure! A few key places to check out are Stanley and Marrawah up NW, Bicheno and anywhere on the east coast, Marion Bay and Bruny Island down south. Either way you'll most likely be on your own.
There's nothing on toast down here, there's always somewhere to kite, it's an island for f@&ks sake! ![]()
Come and have a crack and someone might pop out of the woodwork and show you some sweet spots.
Winter Boost spot, Yeeww

is that inside macquarie harbour?
+1 for tassie with no map... epic set ups everywhere - would count Scamander and trial harbour as two of my most memorable sessions. west coast is not for the faint hearted or un prepared though.
thanks for the pics above - great reminder of how good it gets, though i preferred the water temps in summer!!!

Are there any particularly good spots for Flat water that you know of (like in the pic above), how about - not so dangerous- wave surfing spots.
If one of you guys publishes a kiters guide to tassie i'd buy it!
In fact, first person to compile a book like that for Australia would make a few bucks.
