Don't want to alarm anyone however may need to understand what your tempting when body dragging about at Melville and Point Walter..
On the weekend there was a 3meter bull shark cruising in and out very close to where most guys kite.
We spoke to a lady who lives there and she said it is a common sight over the last 12months. Big and small ones in the shallows.
So to all you guys and girls who do lessons there... good luck with that.
Will leave this here.

3m is a dangerous size...kevlar wetsuits all round...really surprised there isn't any bull shark attacks in the swan
There was a death in the 1920's. But yeah the swan river bulsharks seem a bit less inclined for some human flesh.
Here's a guy I know , bluey Vaughan
At his fishing camp, he affectionately calls them his pets, and can tease them onto dry land with a fish
Cauncy.. Those are not bull sharks.. They are lemon sharks..
There is a massive difference eg teeth..
Example: Perth people mostly have all their have teeth, people who live in dongara/Geraldton have no teeth..
A few years back I wrote on here somewhere about seeing a bull shark while my kite lines tangled back to front, in chest deep water over the footy club side of Melville.
It did 2 runs past me about 10 ft away then i saw the ragged fin come straight at me and disappeared underwater... I stuck my kiteboard in front of my legs, so if he took a bite - hed get nasty indigestion and buuger off.
Nothing happened except scare the daylights out of me.
Managing to relaunch, i rode the board straight up the beach where the poleys are.
They said it was a dophin
Dolphins don't have Ragged trailing edges on there fins !
Don't want to alarm anyone
Wow,

Well spotted Sherlock.

Cmon guys that was just cauncy going for a swim coz there was no wind. He's not a good looking bloke.
Fair enough waveslave... You go girl.
I saw something dark submerge in front of me last week at Attadale. I only saw it momentarily but kept my eye on it for as long as I could. At the time I thought it was probably a bird but I didn't see anything resurface. My mum always said what you dont see dont hurt you but I'm not so sure.
