Check the BOM every half hour hoping for a wind miracle. I think I will be lost once the season is over. I'm sure everyone else also plans their life around the wind.

Buy a mower then hope the wind comes in so I don't have to use it

MTB. It sucks having a passion that is at the mercy of the weather. Mountain biking rules and I can do it whenever I want. Once you get good at it, a sweet DH run is as fun as going for a kite.

If no wind,
Fishing, pub, porn. Not necessarily in that order though, gotta mix it up some days.
Naaaaa, just kidding,

Reading threads and watching movies from seabreeze and the dutch kiteforums. and when there are orders, I am making kite-lines!

oh yes! upwind is better than any setup on the water. Its also fast. That's a measly 13 knots and I'm hitting close to 50kph towing another person using a 10m c4.

Looks awesome would work anywhere with open land ie large recreational parks.
Is it just my eyes or was that a home job trailer gaffa taped on. (Haven't seen avaible like that exept tandem side by side)

I don't. I get out there and give it a go, even if I suspect there is no hope.

Today for example ...

Hardly any wind, yet I managed a quick ride in my 12mt kite.

Anything is possible and if there is a breeze, try it cause it could get good once you're there.

Swear a bit at first ........particularly if the forecast was for wind - then all of the above - but just occasionally I drag a bar or two out and hook it up to tune the bar - yep boring but a worthwhile thing to do !!

I Donated a 1/2 hr or so of 'suggestions' (yep not a qualified instructor- sorry but we live in the boon docks!!) to a guy today that was feeling his way on a 2013 9m north 5 line - and the pig of a kite was back stalling on each attempt to relaunch - I had a go and with a lot of coercing got it to fly - what a PIG!!!
After a return to the beach and a closer look at the bar and lines found they were well out of whack!! It had been bought recently as a second hand kite - and it was in good nick ( looked smicho) - after a bit of an adjustment to line lengths to get them sorted - flew nicely (if we hadn't been there to help this guy would have put up with kite for a while and then bagged it I guess?? )

Ok back on topic - no wind ? Go fishing or mountain bike riding - or paint the house which needs it badly (poor house - its too far down the list to get attention!!) LOL
