So the nosel where I attach my pump swivels all the way around and I can't undo my kite because of it, I should also add it has a slow leak as a result of this.

Just wondering the best way to fix this as the valve hasn't de laminated it just swivels.

It's the inner black circle that swivels around, do you think glue would fix it and the leak? Kites a core xr3.

Slow leak caused by improper use should be treated by a professional immediately. Symptoms could be related to ur prostate and vicious pumping technique

Brohan,

I strongly recommend you change the valve. The valve can be changed quite easily with the right expertise (a few minutes of work, don't even need to remove the bladder from the LE). To remove it you will simply need to immerse the valve in boiling water and peel it off slowly. Then clean off all the glue with Meth spirits and then alcohol. Sticking the new valve back in is the tricky part of the job and you need the right setup for this...

Contact us through the our shop actionsportswa.com.au/ we have these spare Core valves in stock. Just replaced one with Darren's help 2 days ago and a few others over the last 1.5 year, all still going strong.

If you don't feel comfortable doing the repair yourself you could probably mail your bladder in.

It's hard to understand what's swiveling. There is a retaining ring that sits on the outside of the kite that holds the bladder in place. So it can't swivel.
It sounds like you have a bayonet fitting on your pump that is too short so it's not locking in place and because of this the pump can't lock and you can't pump to full pressure. The valves can be changed but it's a tricky expensive fix. I would try someone else's pump first it that's it a newer pump is needed.

I can still pump the kite up fine it's just undoing the nosel is where it swivels. It's the bit where you put the hose in that swivels around, I think it might have come unglued or something.

I'll see about replacing the bladder and give it ago myself if it's easy, thanks for the info guys.
