I love the full deck grips on my kiteboard, usually they are quite grippy but my latest addition is a bit slippery when wet !

Not as much fun as it sounds, especially strapless where i need as much help as i can get.

Any one have any ideas how i can get it to grip up ?

(apart from taking it off and waxing)

Give it a quick rub down with a Cheese Grater.

I was thinking of trying a small bit of normal wax first,

do you think the squid wax is much different to normal wax ?

the only difference i think is what temperature the water is so pick a wax for location, cool, warm or tropical. any surfboard wax will do long as its the right temp range.

Try a bit of rough sandpaper OzZY on the grip may make it more grippy. I use abit of wax on my tail pad too from time to time especially in colder water.
