I bought a TD 3, 7m kite to teach my daughter who is keen to get into her Dads sport.
Problem is that the kite had been previously converted to the 1:1 set up and I have attempted to put it back to the 2:1 set up - and it flies like a dog. Even when fully powered (depower strap powered up) the back lines are so slack that the bar needs to be almost fully sheeted in to be able to steer the kite - surely this isnt right?
The wing tip diagram just doesnt seem to match what is actually on the kite ?? WTF It jjust seems that the rear lines are far too long !!
Has anyone else had this problem with the Sling Shot Turbo Diesel 3 ?
How long in cm is the conversion link?? I'm so confused and frustrated - perhaps the SS TD 3 7m size is just a pig?

I used to have one of these I think. Mine was a T3.
I think there was some extra line extensions that I had to add to get the 1:1 to work properly. They were at the end of the back lines. Did you take these off when you converted it?
I think there was a couple of pictures near the back edge of the kite that showed the extensions to remove.
