Just wondering if anyone has converted a T3 from 2:1 to 1:1? I have done the conversion and did a test run which wasn't very good. Basically the kite back stalled every time I tried to lauch it.

I then found the line links and applied them to the kite. This has helped but the kite seems to still want to back stall if I try to pull the bar in to far. Has anyone else converted a T3?

Cheers

hi snoopy
good timing u lucky dog cause i just converted my 9m & 11m t3's, and hav flown both since.
i really noticed a lot less depower and thought they turned quicker.
i didnt notice the kite back stall or even fly further back in the window.
it was a fairly simple process but a little trickier than the instructions say.
the fact that u didnt do the conversion correctly the first time by not adding the blue line links, it is probable that u still havent done the conversion correctly.
no offence intended.
i thought the bar end of the process was trickier than the kite end.
did u do the bar end of the process ?
unless u r 100% sure go 2 your local and im sure they will help u.
i dont think slingshot got the conversion kit wrong just difficult instructions.
hope this helps and get back 2 me on the t3 as often as u like as i will hav them 4 a while yet. happy days

G'day Pepe,

Thanks for the info. I think I have cracked it after much pondering and swearing at the instructions. I have now added the blue links to the kite and the smaller red and white links to the bar and joined it the lines together at the bar. Kite is now flying as I suspected it should.

You are right, a lot less depower but it feels lighter and more responsive.

Thanks for the help.
