No offence Jordy but a Fuel will pull your pants down and SPANK you!!! Stick to something with a bit of depower.

I think you'll be surprised with the Octane mate.

Depower? What's that" I've never heard of it.

And even if the Rev 3 didn't much much or at all I'd buy another one regardless. I change my kit over every year due to wear and tear etc so regardless of whether there are any improvements or not I'd still buy another one just because! Major improvments don't need to be made for me to buy another Rev as I was more than happ with the Rev 1 & 2.

Would have been nice if they kept the Rev even if they didn't make any major improvements to it.

Just get some spray paint Jordy and write 'REV3' on the side of it

I'll be leaving mine with Octane tho

what does it matter to Jordy what kite he gets next year ?- he has not been sighted at the beach for almost 6 months, he has a lady friend who locks him up like a gimp and doesn't let him out to play- or at least that is his excuse.

I would be keen to try the Octane- looks alright, personally I hated the rev- it was really hard to use the depower cleat and the centre hole always jammed on the rope when you went to sheet out.

As I said, I don't think I ever used the de-power at all anyway!

Quite a while ago actually.

Football is more important to me at this time of the year.

A quick over view of the 2010 Slingshot Kite Range. Hope this helps with some of the Octane questions.....

Thanks for clearing that up Andy...now for the big question, when is the release date for AUS?

Post in Gear reviews.
You can quit with the speculation now.
Jordy, I think you'll be much more satisfied to just stick with the REV2. You'll save a buck too.
cheers COL
